  1. This is a very good book not just instructing about the capabilities of Navicat, but also teaching some advanced MySQL stuff such as how to write stored procedures and setting up automated batch processes, etc. The end-to-end tutorials are also remarkable, especially for developer newbies who want the complete thing.

  2. It looks like a good resource to uncover the little known features of Navicat apart from being an easy-to-use GUI MySQL admin tool.

  3. I thought Navicat was only useful for dumping schemas to sql files and then executing them to recreate a database. I was delighted to find out about the stored procedure tutorial teaching how to use the database server and its capabilities like a pro. I haven’t logged into phpMyAdmin ever since I found about the capabilities of Navicat thanks to the book.
